Michael G. Gabel studied fine art at Dartmouth College before moving to the Middle East to design theme parks. After relocating to Los Angeles he retired from the roller coaster tycoon lifestyle and published She Can Fly: A Domestic Violence Survival Story. Now he splits his time between modeling, making art, and advocating for victims of abuse.
